We are not ‘car people’. You know, people who read What Car magazine and spend their time surfing the Autotrader website and get a shiny new model every year. We have literally driven our old little 306 to death.
Buying a house last year took over our lives a bit. While we were busy ripping things out and fitting a kitchen and discovering decorators caulk we managed to rack up 125,000 miles in the old blue Lawson mobile. It’s time had come.
Choosing a new car is so difficult! You start thinking ‘what car am I?’ and ‘what car do I want to be?’. I am not a super cool sports car. Nor am I a family friendly motor with plenty of boot space. I want it to be pretty, small enough to wedge into tight spots outside churches, comfy enough to drive long distances and have exceptional cup holders. We decided a Mini Cooper fit the bill and found a lovely red one on the Mini Cherished website which we picked up this morning!
Goodbye faithful friend!
Hello shiny new toy!
If a 5 year old had to design a car it would look like a mini; everything is round and friendly 🙂
Brum brum!
