The first time we met Lauren and Brendan was a few days before their wedding, when we drove over to Wales to see their amazing venue. They came all the way from Texas, it was bound to be good!
Lake Vyrnwy is so beautiful and peaceful it made us both ‘oooooooh’ when we first saw it (and indeed every other time we looked out over that ridiculously pretty view!). Many of the guests had also flown in from Texas, and we had our fingers crossed that the great British weather would do us proud and not sabotage their outdoor ceremony plans. It worked!
This day was super organised, full of personal touches and lots of happiness; a real joy to be a part of.
Being a bride is so glamourous 🙂
Gorgeous florals, and (so pretty I want them) Vera Wang Lavender pumps…
Brendan just couldn’t stay away!
Sometimes Pete and I take almost identical pictures in separate rooms…weird!
Irish and proud!
The bridesmaids…
A few portraits…
Weather watch!
Lauren looked so pretty…
The excitement was building as guests tok their seats…
Ceremony time…
We snuck off into the woods for a few portraits…
Love this idea, a thumb prints guestbook…
Marissa (maid of honour and general organisational whizz) made these amazing menus…
Marissa had also had these made as a surprise…
The whole day was being streamed over the net for those who couldn’t make the wedding. I apologise now to anyone who was watching this for the amount of times I accidentally stood in front of it!
The speeches were epic; one of my favourite parts of the day.
A gorgeous evening…
Dance floor action…
Fireworks!
Lauren was pretty excited!
Lauren and Brendan (and your family and friends!), thank you so much for a wonderful day xxx
