Rob’s a photographer, and a good one at that. Thankfully he’s moved more into video (shotbysodium.com), so that’s the risk of him running off with our couples taken care of. Which brings us to the bigger concern – shooting a photographer’s wedding! Now, we’re always nervous before a wedding, but this was definitely some extra pressure! Thankfully, Rob is lovely, and so too is his awesome wife Nell.
These two are one of those couples who just make sense together. We’d known Rob for a few years now, and we’ve often wondered what this mythical Nell would be like. As soon as we met her, we realised she was absolutely perfect for Rob – funny, organised, and takes no nonsense… and an excellent parent/guardian of their cats 🙂
The wedding was at the beautiful Bedern Hall, followed by NCEM, both in York – which must be up there with the most beautiful cities in the world. We enjoyed every minute of it. Especially the 80s dance routine at the end. Though watching Hope and Social do their thing was a close second. Oh, and meeting Denmarc, the coolest videographer ever.
Here are some of the best bits:
Congratulations Nell & Rob!
