Richard & Catherine’s Wedding in France

It’s hard to write these intros sometimes, to sum up in a few paragraphs a really wonderful day.  It’s even harder when the day you’re introducing is the wedding of people you love, like this one of Pete’s big brother Richard and our new sister in law Katie.

They tied the knot in Culles les Roches, a very special place for the Lawson family, where we have spent many days enjoying the French countryside and sampling all the local vineyards have to offer.  After the ceremony at the village Marie we wandered over to the caveau for delicious food, cremant and dancing.  Albert in particular had the BEST DAY EVER, running around, making speeches and making friends with everyone.

We’ve recently started filming weddings (www.lawsonfilms.co.uk), although never tried to photograph and film one at the same time.  A family wedding seemed like the ideal time to practice, after all they can’t really sue us if it all went wrong 🙂  Watch the film, look at the pictures, they say much more than I can.
