This was our very first wedding at King Street Townhouse and, oh my, is it an amazing venue! City weddings just seem to have a look and feel of their own. Especially winter weddings when the bright lights of the city are on full display even earlier.
After spending the morning with Jayne getting ready (complete with plenty of cute parent/bridesmaid moments!) it was on to the candle lit ceremony. We then ran straight up to the roof top with some amazing panoramic views over Manchester for portraits while there was still some light in the sky.
I must confess this has to be one of my favourite weddings. Don’t tell anyone though – we’re not supposed to have favourites. It must be because I’ve secretly always wanted to live in Manchester.
Hilarious speeches followed the portraits, but the laughing faces captured below weren’t all from these. They were actually just having that much fun during the meal! The dance floor was similarly high energy. Everyone was up dancing to the amazing band, or posing in the Photo Booth. I didn’t want to leave!
We’d love to photograph more weddings at King Street Townhouse if this one is anything to go by!
