This wedding was made in wedding heaven. Sure it had beautiful details and a lovely setting but more importantly it had bucket loads of happiness. Chris (as well as half of the guests) is Australian, and so many of his family and friends flew over for the wedding. You can’t be unhappy in a room full of Australians. Although Emma is a Brit, she COULD be Australian – she has that same sunny disposition.
I am going to do something I have never done before and make this a THREE part blog, so make sure you check out Part Two and Three below!
Emma spent the morning at the Vincent Hotel in Southport, lovely place!
It seems apt to start with the shoes, as they provided the inspiration for the rest of the details. Bejewelled Dior beauties…*sigh*
Emma chose a Jenny Packham gown, which fit her like a glove…
Here’s the beautiful bride having a Marylyn Monroe moment…
Everybody had a cold, the room looked like a pharmacy!
“Get off the phone we’re waiting to do a cheers!”
Emma chose to have a wrist corsage instead of a big bouquet, lovely!
Meanwhile Pete was around the corner at the Ramada Plaza with the boys…
I hear Chris was pretty chilled out (in true Ozzy style!)…
Chris’ proud mum…
A swiss army knife came in very handy. These guys are like crocodile dundee 🙂
Time to go get married!
Meanwhile a mountain of makeup had arrived…
Emma’s lovely mum…
Emma has teeny wrists so the corsage was a little loose. Not to worry, super-bridesmaid saved the day with a needle and thread…
Time for princess Emma to put her dress on…
So beautiful!
Trying her best not to cry 🙂
Make sure you check out Part Two!
