An amazing couple, an amazing venue and I must say one absolutely amazing cake (but you’ll have to wait to see that!). We had such a fun day with Jeanette and Simon, they are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. They had a bit of a hiccup along the wedding planning route with another venue letting them down, but after a few stressful weeks trying to sort out an alternative they found somewhere even better – Liverpool Town Hall which is stunningly beautiful!
Right now I hope the newlyweds are enjoying some rest and relaxation in an exotic location, but as this spontaneous pair hadn’t actually decided where to go for their honeymoon on their wedding day, that exotic location could really be anywhere in the world!
Here’s the beautiful dress, which was kept a secret from almost everyone…
Jeanette was still being glammed up at the salon when I arrived, but there was plenty going on with the bridesmaids to keep me occupied!
Meanwhile Pete was enjoying a cup of coffee with Simon and co…
Jeanette got a bit emotional when she arrived (good to get it out of your system!)…
Dress time!
Jeanette looked AMAZING!
A very proud dad…
Aren’t they adorable?!
We headed off to the church, St.Chad’s in Kirkby…
Simon was as smiley as ever, I’m not sure if anything could stress this guy out!
Here comes the bride!
I wasn’t allowed at the front during the ceremony, but I was allowed to get a couple of quick shots as Jeanette walked up the aisle!
What a pretty church!
Married!
Awesome confetti!
We nipped across the road to a little park with Mr + Mrs…
My favourite!
I love this shot!
Here’s the lovely Liverpool Town Hall in all its glory…
It is equally magnificent on the inside…
Jeanette’s first bouquet toss ended like this…
That’s right, it landed in the middle of the chandelier…whoops!
The next attempt was far more successful!
A few details…
This cake was a work of art!
Three seconds after taking this picture I scoffed this delicious cheesecake. Plus the pretty chocolate.
A few from the speeches…
The paparazzi descended for the cake cutting!
A bit of a boogie…
Jeanette and Simon, thank you so much for a brilliant day! x
