Katie & Mark’s wedding at The Midland

 

We absolutely loved Katie and Mark’s wedding.  For starters it all happened in one of the best cities in the world (Manchester).  They fully embraced the city vibe, walking through the streets between ceremony and reception and even venturing out with us into the street lights in the evening 🙂

These two are effortlessly stylish; every detail was impeccable.  We had no idea until the day but they’d chosen some of our favourite suppliers (cakes by Beth made the gorgeous cake, Laurel Weddings provided the pretty florals and Shutterbox filmed everything).  The ceremony took place at Manchester Town Hall, a real favourite of ours.  Really, how many times can I say ‘favourite’?!

When you’re planning your wedding, one of the pieces of advice you will probably hear is “make sure you spend a few moments together at the reception, because you’ll be dragged in opposite directions all day and barely see each other”.  That couldn’t be further from the truth for Katie and Mark, they were joined at the hip all day.  We’ve seen love in so many different ways, Katie and Mark have the ‘written all over their faces staring adoringly at each other’ kind.  It was flipping lovely.
