When the ring goes missing within the first hour of arriving at a wedding, you’d expect a fair bit of stress, and a pretty tense atmosphere. You’d be right too, for about 5 minutes. Lisa & Andrew, and groomsmen and bridemaids had it all in hand. Rooms were searched top to bottom, bridemaids were sent in as an extra search party once the men left for the church, backup rings were arranged, and then the ring was found! Only one solitary tear was shed.
The rest of the day went perfectly, and these two so obviously are perfect for each other. Which is probably why they’re always smiling 🙂
Newby Hall was the perfect background/playground with miniature trains for the guests to ride on, lots of room for the kids to play with the kites Lisa & Andrew got for everyone, and lots of gorgeous greenery for pretty woodland pictures. One of the most emotional parts of the day (other than the ceremony) was a video made by their friends which played in the evening – the plot was that, basically, everyone that meets Lisa & Andrew loves them. It’s true too.
A lot happened, so there are lot of pictures in this blog post. Grab a cup of tea first (or a triple shot soya flat white if you want to get into the spirit of things).
