Rox and Noz have been together forever, but you can’t rush these things! They had a lovely church ceremony, with one of the nicest vicars we’ve ever met, she was genuinely so excited to be part of their day. Halfway through the service the power went out (probably due to the sudden extreme lake district rain!), and the church was plunged into darkness. One of my favourite moments of the day was when a guest sang amazing grace in the darkness while they signed the register, it was really beautiful.
After a mad dash to the camper van in the torrential rain we headed over to Abbey House, where thankfully the rain stopped and everyone could enjoy the gardens. They had an awesome tipi for the reception, and lots of lovely details. In the evening Jordy rocked up with his mobile wood fired pizza truck (this seriously might be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!) and fed the troops while they enjoyed the sunshine (hurray!) and had space hopper races. Such a wonderful day, congratulations Rox and Noz xxx
