Sara & Tim’s Wedding at Hawkstone Hall

We had the pleasure of photographing Sara & Tim’s amazing wedding at Hawkstone Hall this weekend. From the moment we started driving up the mile long path up to the venue we knew this was going to be a special venue, and Hawkstone Hall did not disappoint! What a beautiful place for a wedding this is – such ornate ceilings, a gorgeous wedding chapel, and lots of outdoor spots to scoot to in a golf buggy for pictures (courtesy of the wedding butler Rik!).

Sara & Tim giggled their way through most of the day. We love that! Tim’s speech was both hilarious and brought everyone (especially his parents) to tears. We did never get to see the special lunge that first attracted Sara to him though!

There were many special touches throughout the day to really make it personal to them. The guests all enjoyed a mulled wine on arrival, a beautiful musical interlude in the ceremony made everyone tear up. Even the cake was made by a sister in law. Other people helped too – too many for me to remember in fact! Additional decor provided by Quirk It.

A ceilidh band in the evening made sure everyone was up on the dance floor, at least until the pizzas came out anyway! Great to see a previous couple of ours again too – the lovely Emily & Daniel.
